Essential Energy and Ausgrid network areas which covers the majority of NSW.

We begin every Level 3 ASP project with a comprehensive assessment to ensure we design with the end in mind. This in-depth review allows us to fully understand your project requirements from the outset helping to avoid unnecessary infrastructure, reduce rework, and ensure your needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Hofman Preferred Design develops a detailed model of the proposed power line using software approved by the relevant energy authority. This ensures the design is accurate, compliant, and ready for construction without unforeseen complications. We manage all necessary council and community consultations, complete the environmental impact assessment, and prepare all supporting documentation required by the energy authority to obtain design certification without delay.
Once your Level 3 design has been certified, Hofman Preferred Design continues to support your Level 1 ASP throughout the construction phase as needed. We’re available to discuss project requirements or constraints and provide expert advice upon request, helping to ensure your project is delivered on time and within budget. .
Established in 2019 Hofman Preferred Design is a fully accredited level 3 authorised service provider under the NSW Accredited Service
Providers (ASP) scheme as a Level 3 service provider for class 3A and 3B, (accreditation number 5202).
As a Level 3 ASP, we are authorised to design and facilitate electrical infrastructure works that connect developments and upgrades to
the electricity distribution network, whether through overhead, underground, or high-voltage systems. Our services are essential for
developers, contractors, councils, and private landowners planning new subdivisions, commercial facilities, asset relocations, or rural
